Regulatory Context
The Ethiopia pilot operates under the Ethiopian national regulatory framework. Providers hold national licences or permits issued by the relevant authority of their country.
Expansion to other member states is subject to separate national authorisations, licensing and registration in each country. ACE does not itself provide medical, pharmaceutical, payment or logistics services.
ACE connects to the relevant regulatory systems for verification purposes. The authority issues the licence. ACE records the reference and displays it.
