Specifications, batch records, quality-control results, compliance evidence — the documentation African producers need but rarely have in a form a buyer or an authority can verify. ACE provides the structure, the record and the verification.
Request documentation support →A buyer cannot taste, smell or test every product they consider. They rely on documentation. In the absence of documentation, they rely on trust — and trust does not scale across borders.
African producers are often held back not by the quality of what they make but by their inability to prove it. Product specifications live in a notebook. Batch tests are done but not recorded. Compliance evidence is scattered across emails and folders.
ACE provides the digital record structure that turns scattered evidence into a documented, verifiable package — attached to each product and each batch — so a buyer, a certifier or an authority can see exactly what was tested, when, by whom, and against what specification.
Each type below is a documented record that can be attached to a product or a batch on ACE, and verified by anyone you authorise. Cards marked Live are available now. Cards marked In development are on the roadmap.
A structured specification for each product — ingredients, materials, dimensions, composition, tolerances, packaging — that a buyer can download or verify against a live record.
For each production or processing run, a batch record that captures what was made, when, from which inputs, and by whom. The foundation of every other record.
Lab results and quality-control tests linked to the batch they were performed on. When a buyer checks a batch, they see the QC results that back it.
Regulatory and standards evidence linked to the product or batch — certificates, permits, inspection reports, authorisations from a competent authority.
Where a product requires a safety data sheet, ACE can hold the SDS alongside the product record and link it to the batches it applies to.
Where your sector or buyer requires a specific documentation format, we can design and configure a custom workflow on ACE that produces exactly that record.
Every product on ACE can present a complete documentation pack to a buyer, an authority or a certifier — depending on what you choose to make visible and to whom.
The name, description, category, producer and country of origin. The product's identity card — nothing more than what the buyer needs to know the product is what it says it is.
Ingredients, materials and composition — as recorded in the specification and verified against the batch that produced the item in hand.
Country, region and community of origin. The producer behind it. The processing steps that turned raw material into the finished product.
Any certificate, permit, inspection or test that applies to the product or batch — issued by a competent authority or an approved certifier, and linked to the record.
Before a product can cross a border, a regulator in the destination country needs documentation. Without it, the shipment stops at customs — regardless of how good the product is.
A buyer who cannot verify a claim will not pay for it. Documentation is how a producer converts quality into price, and how they build a relationship that repeats.
Every batch recorded adds to the producer's documentary reputation. Over years, that record becomes the strongest asset the producer has — more durable than any single buyer relationship.
ACE does not approve products, does not certify quality, does not conduct the tests and does not validate the accuracy of a documentation record that a producer enters.
Documentation on ACE is a record of what was entered by the producer and — where a competent authority or an approved certifier has issued a document — of what that authority decided. The authority decides. ACE records, links and makes the record verifiable.
